Your Skin Doesn't Like Winter Wind and Cold
If you are out and about in the winter months, the cold wind you are often faced with can wreak havoc with your skin, leaving it dry and under nourished.
How can you spot dry skin?
Dry skin often feels itchy and uncomfortable and may be flaky, rough or cracked.
It often gets worse as you age or when you’re stressed, causing premature lines and wrinkles due to a lack of elasticity and suppleness in your skin.
Try nourishing your skin with H-Glow Formula which is specifically formulated for fine lines and wrinkles.
How can you treat dry skin
Stay away from commercial cleansers and other beauty and make up products.
For example, foaming cleansers will end up stripping your skin while toners contain harsh alcohols or unnecessary parabens and sulphates. Instead change to Simply Cleansing Oil which is a gentle natural alternative to over-the counter-cleansers. The formula acts as an emulsifier with the skin's natural sebum and gently unclogs the pores, lifting grime and imbedded impurities without stripping the skin's natural oils while helping to clean, tighten and tone the skin.
Avoid those products with potent active ingredients such as glycolic acid and retinol. When these are frequently applied, they can compromise that all important skin’s barrier function so that you end up with skin that is even dryer.
Look for moisturisers and other skin products that are rich in oils.
Simply Face Oil provides all the moisture and nutrients your face craves.
How can you spot dehydrated skin?
This is skin that’s lacking in water rather than oil.
The signs that your skin is lacking in water (even temporarily) are a tightness, skin that looks dull, dark circles around your eyes and the sudden appearance of fine lines.
Our Simply Eye Serum promotes clear and lustrous skin around the eyes, the central focus of your face and reflection of inner beauty! The Formula targets dark circles and those bags under the eyes.
How can you treat dehydrated skin?
Step one is to loosen dead skin cells to help your serums and moisturisers penetrate your skin better.Make a homemade sugar scrub with ingredients right from your own kitchen.
Combine 2 parts of sugar (any kind of sugar will work) and 1 part of olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil or almond oil. Mix together and rub a small amount over those dry skin areas to exfoliate. Wash away with warm water, pat dry and...
Step two is to moisturize either with Simply Face Oil or Simply Skin Vitamin Oil. The former is the natural face moisturizer for all skin types with just pure oils to moisturize and rejuvenate while the the latter is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and Omega fatty acids, all essential for the balance and nourishment of your skin - the perfect nutrition for your dehydrated skin.
Your skin will love Simply Skin Vitamin Oil.
